Police Officer Body Slams Dumb Sorority Girl

April 10, 2017

This story peaked my interest today and it entails a hard lesson learned for this sorority girl.

The shocking images all appeared when the Colorado police tried, they arrested a bar outside the body for a 22-year-old girl.

Michaella Surat was hit by one of the officers threw out on the ground outside the Bondi Beach Bar at Fort Collins Thursday night.

The police were called from the University of Colorado to the bar in a battle report accompanied by a student’s boyfriend.

She got caught while trying to remove him from the scene.

Surato caught another party participant when the executive lived in the camera.

The image shows that you writhed to a policeman who had his forearm in his hand.

In one move, he twists his arm to get him to hit the ground back to his belly.

The audience breathed in with a shock as Surat hit the ground.

She then tried to get on his legs, standing at his knees before being overthrown by the same official and his colleagues.

The photos were uploaded on Social Media, sparked criticism from users who accused the police of being overly aggressive.

“She’s like 90 pounds … a poor girl!” Another police said a shocked user while saying: “It’s not cool”

It was uploaded to the official account of Barstool, so it has been viewed more than 8000 times through Instagram or Twitter.

Fort Collins police said that from the treatment of the police officers it was a standard for accusers in beating assault offenders.

“She remained on the scene at that time, she physically disturbed and hit an officer,” a spokesperson for Coloradoan said.

The body image taken by the medicine will be considered as part of the incident investigation.

Surat was posted to Larimar County Prison, but it was released after posting a $ 1,750 bond.

Maybe this “girl” will think twice before touching a police officer again after she was arrested for assaulting an officer.

Open Letter to Notch a Creator of Minecraft

August 29, 2015

After reading some of Notch’s recent tweets about feeling lonely and isolated I decided to pen an open letter to him about how I felt after losing one of my businesses and how I was able to deal with the change.

Dear Noch,

You have fallen into a very common trap. You have lost sense of purpose and drive. You have lost what you truly love in exchange for money and freedom from pressure. OFC you’re unhappy. What you need to do is find purpose in life again not just living on a whim. You need to find what you are about because it seems like you have lost all caring. You fill your life with empty things and you will find yourself an empty man. Do not find things you want or enjoy find things that make you struggle, makes you think, makes you value yourself. Go back to school (you can at any age), give lectures, inspire people, do something other then throw a party something that gives you meaning and makes you thrive as a human being again. USE YOUR MIND not your money. Start a fund for other indie games that could help them succeed and tutor them. Who knows what will make you feel useful and valuable again but you need to find it before you lose yourself completely. Minecraft

For those that don’t know him, “Notch” real name is Markus Persson, and he is one of the founding creators of the widely successful video game Minecraft. In 2014 he sold the company that owns the game to Microsoft for a package that is worth upwards of $2.5 Billion.

Now that he isn’t working anymore he is finding it hard to function in life even though his wildest dreams came true and is richer than most of the people on this planet.

Tuskegee Airmen Robbed

August 20, 2015

“That area also is near where a 93-year-old veteran who was part of the Tuskegee Airmen — black World War II pilots — was the victim of crimes twice within a few minutes Sunday, being robbed and then having his car stolen.”

So, one of the few remaining members of the most prolific squadron in WWII gets robbed twice… and it’s only mentioned in passing, like some throw-away sidenote? No. Just stop. Stop kicking the hornet’s nest for just one second and think about how absolutely contradictory this is becoming.

The very second a white-on-black shooting happens, you will jump on it like some half-starved, salivating wolf. You know it will generate clicks, viewership, ratings, ad revenue, and honestly it’s beginning to feel like you’re completely indifferent to what consequences any premature scoop or the absence of the minutest of detail could incur if you’re jumping the gun a little too fast. You’re making us ill-informed– just like the protesters who showed up to this one, and all because it fits a narrative and by god there still has to be some meat on these bones to pick.

… But the robbery of a man I would gladly defend to my dying breath gets what… two sentences, like some sidelong “oh by the way, yeah that happened” that surely didn’t deserve national attention or the unmitigated might of journalistic endeavor as this young man’s death certainly will? You will fill an article rehashing every racially charged thing that has happened in the past year in St. Louis, but you won’t spend longer than a couple of taps of the keyboard to shine a spotlight on an old man– of the same race?

Were there protests for him? Were there news vans parked outside his home to make sure that we will have that image emblazoned in our minds for weeks to come?

This is why fewer and fewer are taking you (the media and Black Lives Matter) and your role in the national narrative on race seriously. You will report on this, seemingly on a daily basis, but you won’t cram homicide rates in Baltimore, St. Louis, New Orleans, or Detroit down our collective throats? You will report on anything that could be construed as race-related, but an article that mentions how black-on-black crime rates have been in epidemic proportions for years might see the light of day once in a blue moon?

If your creed is to shine a light on the problems that face blacks in this country, then shine it on ALL of their problems. Even the ones that are self-inflicted. Since it honestly seems like you’re not afraid of inciting a few more riots, what the harm in actually showing both sides of the same coin?

A Tuskegee Airman, an actual bonafide hero, will not receive the BlackLivesMatter chant, nor its political clout, nor its anger. And that tells me everything I need to know about the movement and the way you in the media are playing them.

Detroit Police Seek Men Who Robbed and Raped Couples in Downtown

July 19, 2015

Detroit ‘black packs’ are attacking WHITE couples. The Detroit News calls the pack “sexual predators” who prefer to attack couples, forcing the man to watch while the others rape the woman. Authorities have identified three such attacks by the serial black-pack rapists. The most recent attack was Thursday July 16, 2015. The guilt you feel is programmed into your brain to displace the normal reaction of anger, disgust, and even rage. Your mind is programmed to feel deep guilt in the form of shame for entertaining normal reactions which you have been trained are evidence of deeply embedded racism.thug01 Anytime white people speak out against black-on-white violence, the media promptly moves to re-enforce the programming. This was observed in Philadelphia when a local group of white people banded together to protest black-on-white violence. When the group used the matra, “What Live Matter,” they were ridiculed as being racist and mentally associated with the #$%$. The double standard is sickening. Consequently, black-on-white violence continues unabated and the articles WON’T say it was black on white. White (non-hispanic) americans make up 62% of this country. This population group accounts for 39% of the total rapes, 18% of the total murders, 21% of the total robberies, and 31% of the total violent crimes in this entire country yearly. Black americans make up 13% of this country. This population group accounts for 36% of the total rapes, 58% of the total murders, 57% of the total robberies, and 42% of the total violent crimes in this entire country yearly. thug02Why is there such a disproportion of crime statistics between these two cultures? Here’s the reason, and notice it doesn’t have anything to do with racial discrimination or police injustice: Percentages of children born out of wedlock by race: White: 29%. Black: 72%. Nearly 70% of black american children today are currently living in single parent households. When are we going to start talking about this topic? The images are sketches of the suspects.

Wii 2 Announced at E3 2011

April 15, 2011

There is a rumor that the Wii’s successor will be announced at this years electronics expo commonly known as E3. I am a pretty big gamer and I already own a Wii. This would be really cool because the graphics are looked very dated compared to the other gaming machines.

Rumors and leaks 2 for Wii keep coming. Now we have news about the new Wii controller 2.

Sources have told CVG that, apart from revealing Wii 2 at E3 this coming June, also revealed that the new console will have a brand new driver. Sources have indicated that this is not a simple update of the Wii Remote controller to incorporate a high definition display, but has not revealed whether the screen will offer other features, such as a touch screen.

“Nintendo plans sound unreal,” said a source. “The editors are already planning to launch titles and it’s all very exciting.

“The hardware is more powerful than current HD consoles and compatible with Wii. The controller is brand new and has a high definition screen in it.”

That’s not all, more rumors have suggested that the Wii 2 will use a new format and at play – that might be familiar to players. I’m talking about Blu-ray. development sources (via Blu-ray.com) have said that Nintendo is looking to the disc format Blu-ray as their primary media. If this is true, that leaves the Xbox 360 with disk capacity in smaller size format media. The current Wii uses standard DVDs in their games, the report is unclear whether Blu-ray would be used for playback of movies, games, or both.

When asked about the validity of these rumors, Nintendo released a the classic “no comment.”

Once again, these are all rumors until confirmed by Nintendo, but it’s a pretty strong story, right? What new game mechanics developers can do with an additional display for each player?

IRS on the Hunt

March 19, 2011

Out of the millions of tax returns that are filed with the IRS each year, a certain percentage are inevitably flagged and chosen to be audited. In some cases, this is because the taxpayer filing the return is already being investigated for tax fraud or other crimes, while other returns are merely selected at random. The formula that the IRS uses to flag returns for random audit, known as the Discriminant Function, is a highly classified secret known only to a few. However, there are several types of returns that the IRS tends to focus on in general. Filers with returns that fall into one of these categories must accept that there is a higher probability that they will be audited than other taxpayers. Some of the types of returns that the IRS tends to scrutinize more closely include:

Taxpayers who include a Schedule A with their 1040 likely have a higher chance of being audited than those who don’t. This is because the additional calculations invite a greater possibility of fraud or error by the taxpayer.

Self-Employed Taxpayers

Taxpayers who report income on Schedule C or E are prime targets of the IRS, because of the number of expenses that can be claimed as deductions. Those who report net losses for the year that reduce other taxable income, such as salaries or investment income are especially vulnerable to examination by the IRS.

“Cash Cow” Businesses

Many businesses have traditionally operated largely on a cash basis, such as laundry services, restaurants, casinos and gaming establishments and other similar enterprises. A substantial percentage of these businesses have traditionally underreported their income on their tax returns, due to the difficulty of proving revenue that is received in cash from thousands of separate transactions. For this reason, the mafia and other organized crime syndicates have been heavily involved with these industries for the past several decades. Of course, this has not escaped the notice of the IRS, which has collaborated with various law enforcement agencies who pursue these criminals.

Small Businesses

Even businesses such as florists, hobby store owners, construction contractors and other local enterprises are often scrutinized by the IRS. This is because even honest business owners and partners often don’t understand the rules for correctly reporting their income and expenses and therefore submit erroneous returns. This is particularly true of those who are filing a business return for the first time, such as the proprietor of a new company.

Private Transactions

Taxpayers who engage in the sale of substantial pieces of real estate or hold interests in oil and gas leases or other such investment property can often realize enormous income and profits from individual buyers or small companies. The IRS knows how easy it can be to underreport the profits from these transactions, in some cases.

The Bottom Line

Remember that if the IRS does flag your return for audit, it does not mean that they suspect you of cheating. As mentioned previously, many returns are selected at random, according to a formula. As long as you have not cheated on your return, then you don’t have to worry about what they find. If there is an error, the IRS will notify you in writing of the discrepancy and tell you how much more you owe. Of course, this process can work both ways; it is possible that the IRS could state that you owe less than you reported as well. Just make sure that you have all of the documentation that you need to prove your deductions, such as copies of receipts and bills. As long as you can supply what the IRS requests, your audit should be a relatively quick and painless process.

Grade Sues Dad

July 3, 2010

Arguing over money is nothing new for most families, especially when recent college graduates with massive student loans start looking to their parents for economic assistance in today’s tough job market. And things can get tense when parents try to decide how much of that debt they’re willing to help out with. Most of the time, though, that decision isn’t decreed in a court of law.

But that’s exactly what happened when Dana Soderberg sued her father to force him to fulfill their agreement to pay for her education at Southern Connecticut State University.

Dana didn’t take a lawsuit against her own father based on a mere promise, however; she had a legal document to back her up.When Howard and Deborah Soderberg divorced in 2004, Howard; a property developer; agreed to pay for the education of their three children.

Apparently Dana foresaw that his word wouldn’t be enough. In 2005, she convinced her father to sign a written contract that would require him to pay for her college tuition until she turned 25, as well as cover related expenses such as textbooks and car insurance. For her part, she agreed to apply for student loans that her father would cover if she received them. But Howard stopped paying her tuition just before her senior year, forcing Dana to take out a $20,000 student loan (co-signed by her mother). After graduating as an art major, Dana filed a breach of contract lawsuit against her father with the aid of family attorney Renee C. Berman.

Representing himself in court, Howard contended that his daughter nullified their contract first when she; supposedly; didn’t try hard enough to apply for student loans. He even filed a counterclaim alleging that she dropped a few classes and kept the money for herself. In Dana’s defense, Berman pointed out that Dana was forced to drop some courses due to the continued tardiness of her father’s tuition payments. “They just don’t have a relationship” Berman said about Dana and Howard. “It has to be weak to begin with if you enter into that agreement.” Berman also noted how unperturbed Dana’s dad seemed throughout the trial. “Here his daughter’s bringing him to court and there’s no sadness, no remorse that his daughter was in this situation having to sue him.

After two-day trial, the judge ruled that Dana had indeed fulfilled her part of the contract and awarded her about $47,000 in damages, which covered the initial loan, interest and attorney fees

If a daughter successfully suing her father for nearly $50,000 to recoup the cost of her college loans sounds unusual, Dana’s attorney would be the first to agree. “Nothing that I’ve researched has shown any cases like this and hopefully there won’t be any more, because it’s a sad situation,” Berman admitted.

As an art major-turned-teacher facing a grim economy (liberal arts majors’ salaries’ dropped 8.9 percent in the last year), Dana’s legal victory should ease some of her monetary concerns. But most college grads can’t turn to the legal system to relieve them of their student loan woes. Unlike other types of debt; such as mortgage or credit card; student loans aren’t wiped away by declaring bankruptcy.

That means grads who can’t afford to make ends meet can end up defaulting on their loans, which effectively ruins their credit. What’s worse, defaulting means being turned over to a collection agency; and the fee that incurs can turn an already imposing amount of debt into downright terrifying numbers.

Dr. Michelle Bisutti, for instance, finished medical school in 2003 with $250,000 in student loans. Today, she owes $555,000; and $53,000 of that is just a fee for being turned over to a collection agency.

The New York Times recently shared the story of Cortney Munna, a college grad who was convinced her NYU degree was worth the approximately $97,000 in loans she took out to pay for it. Now almost a third of Munna’s income goes to covering the federal and private loans she took out to nab that NYU degree. While most college grads don’t owe money in excess of $100,000 two-thirds of those who complete a four-year program end up owing an average of $23,000 in student loans. And that’s bad news for people who are slowly finding out a college degree isn’t necessarily as profitable as they have been led to believe. Recent studies indicate that while having a college degree tends to ensure a higher salary than those with a high school diploma, the increase in pay scale isn’t as large as society often assumes.

According to a study conducted for Bloomberg Businessweek, most of the people who recoup the cost of their higher education and out-earn high school grads by over a million dollars (over the course of their lives) primarily come from elite private schools.
For the majority of Americans who can’t afford an Ivy League education, there are plenty of state schools that offer competitive academics at much more reasonable prices. The University of North Carolina recently topped Kiplinger’s “Best Value in Public Colleges” list, and UNC grads don’t seem to be hit as hard by the student debt crisis. The average UNC grad ends up with $14,936 worth of debt; a full $8,000 less than the national average

So, for those whose parents aren’t legally bound to cover the cost of their education, there’s still hope for earning back the money you invest in your education.

April Fools

April 2, 2010

So it seems like Google is playing an April Fool’s day joke on me. It seems like today they dropped down many of my pages in their rankings. To say the least I am not happy about it. I guess this means I need to roll up my sleeves and get busy.

Tired

March 30, 2010

Getting bogged down with all the work I need to do to return my traffic to its former pinnacle from last year. If only I hadn’t taken that 6 month sabbatical. Plus I am working on a new website so that is really putting a damper on my time open for my older websites.

In my last post I mentioned needing to update them at least once a week, and I think I should be able to handle that without much trouble. I’ve already updated the Home Depot credit card page and a few others so hopefully that will be enough new info for the search engines to still think my site is up to date.

What is really disappointing though is how many backlinks I think I lost while I took my break. I think that is one big problem that I need to work on asap.

Weekly Updates

March 25, 2010

So it seems like Search Engines like Websites that are updated frequently and I have to agree that visiting a website that hasn’t been updated and contains old information can be very frustrating.

Now we come to my problem, I currently have three websites that I run and keeping everything up to date can be tedious and tiresome. Especially when I update some information and the next few days it changes. Although its kinda nice when I get comments from my visitors telling me that something is wrong, that way I don’t have to do all the checking myself. On the other hand some of these comments can be kinda rude.

Anyways I’m gonna shoot for updating my websites every week at least. Especially my paid surveys site.
